 it's that time again.

time to
gather
celebrate
eat
and
exchange

set up was pretty much
minus my two

okay
i lied.
this year we added
berries in our champagne
who couldn't use some antioxidants?

found boxes
with cellophane tops
for guests to take cookies home in

added a little sparkly  monogram
(you know how i love me some monograms)
and topped it off with a little personalized calligraphy

ornament pile

lovely guests

am i the luckiest?

find the most amazing
women to surround myself with?

to this holiday season.

first official dinner guests

we had our first
official
dinner guests.

these guys.
we were so happy to open
our home.
feed them.
laugh with them.
raise a glass with them.

these guys
are the kings of hospitality.

this was really just pay back for
all they've already given to us.

we drank up

 and filled our bellies.

no shots of the actual food.
i was too busy shoving it down
and enjoying the table talk.

thanks,
brictor,
for a
splendid evening.

looking forward to more of the same.

share with me
great memories
made
at your
table.

love this stuff...

New Twist on an Entertainer's Necessity

Goodbye Wine Tags...
Hello Numbers

What to do when having a dinner party with
stemless wine glasses?
How do you keep track of who's glass is whose?

Here is a new twist
on an old idea

Voila!

Now you can mix and match
Stemware, stemless
doesn't matter

Here is the easy peesy how to:

Get your favorite scrapbook number stickers
according to size, color or whatever you have on hand

(or you could personalize your soiree by monogramming
each individual glass per guests initials...)

How's that for personal touches?

Here are my "naked" wine glasses

Here is after I applied my first sticker
LOVE!

Final Product...

You could also be bold and go more permanent.
You could etch the number directly onto your stemware.
Materials can be found at your local craft store.

This is simply a temporary solution.
Oh, and don't put these bad boys in the dishwasher...
or bye bye sticker.

What do you think?
As always, thanks for visiting
