Getting Current with Technology...the Before and After Story

THE BEFORE:

Our family room...
Notice the TV sitting atop my garden urn.
You might not be able to tell, but that's my metal urn, that belongs outside.

Yes, this is our "make-do" TV stand for our super duper 20 inch TV.

We gathered around this TV, in all it's glory,
for the past 3 months watching our favorite TV shows.
We knew it was time to get current.

This is our dutiful dog looking on...
he is such a good dog.
He knows he is not allowed on the carpet downstairs
after one small "incident" we shall not mention.

ANOTHER BEFORE:

This is our empty armoire waiting to house a fancy shmancy flat screen TV.
It is lonely.

This is my darling husband trying to put together the mass of
wires, stands and hook ups.
Oh, and our basement is FREEZING,
so you can see he bundled up for the task, beanie and all.

AFTER:
Yeah! Now our "guest wing" actually has current technology!

Now that we actually own a flat screen, it is true.
You can really see the clarity.

Am I sounding like a commercial, now?

ANOTHER AFTER:
The final product
(although we are still trying to figure out what to do with the hanging cords)

  4. I think you have to install them behind the wall which is probably not allowed at the townhouse. Do you have a console table you can place in front?
