Walking into Winter

Not sure about you but it's been a bit chilly around here...
Temperatures have been hanging around the 40's.
That's pretty cold for this California girl.

With the height of fall now behind us, I watch leaves drop leaving trees
looking more bare as we walk into winter.

This is the view from my morning walk.

Enjoy...

Ha. Had to snap this shot.
This is what they do to the trees to prevent electrical injury.

As always, thanks for visiting.

  1. Wow! So beautiful. I am a little bit jealous. Although 40 degrees is FREEZING to me. Enjoy the seasons.

  2. Thanks, G. Although I miss my roots terribly I am loving the season, no matter how extreme. They only last 3-4 months or so then onto the next! Love it.

  3. So beautiful! I'm sure you have purchased some fashionable jackets to look smart in the chilly weather. Not sure I could handle the cold. I'm wearing flip flops and on my way to the beach to play volleyball. It's going to be a cool 68 degrees and sunny in S.D. today. Love the pics!
