Tatum's mini room makeover

My daughter, Tatum, is in her very own room now and loving the new found independence. This comes after sharing a room with her identical twin sister for the past 11 years.

However, making "her" room "her" was another challenge. It had no pizazz, no style. It just wasn't Tatum.

So while my 6th grader was at school, I took one quick trip to Target and voila! New room for Tatum. She had no idea what Mommy was up to...

She came home from school, dumped her stuff on the kitchen floor when I gently reminded her to take all her junk up to her own room. Little did she know what she was walking into. After I heard her scream I knew she loved it.

That and the fact that her other sisters want to know when their makeovers are.
Ha.
I love it.

I have plans for them, too.
