Jot it down

I love chalkboards. Especially since they are black, which as you know is one of my must colors in the house. Did I mention I love neutrals?
I digress, chalkboards are fun, useful and ever changing. I even painted a coffee table chalkboard so my three darling daughters could be creative while watching TV.

Regardless of where it's at, everyone needs a chalkboard. Find that perfect wall to paint or board to hang and just do it.

"Welcome Olsen's" is written on mine today welcoming my out of town dinner guests for tonight.

  2. Hello Mrs. Brookes! I found your beautiful blog. Can't wait to read it all.

I do love a chalkboard, too. I've always wanted to paint a wall with chalkboard paint but just haven't gotten around to it.

  4. Glad you liked, twocreatives. I've painted plenty with chalkboard paint, not magnet paint. Wish I had more for you. Love that you attempted it.

  5. I can't wait to paint a wall in my daughter's room w/ chalkboard paint. My brother has done the magnetic paint before. Magnetic paint goes on first then color on top.
